James McCann Bio:

James McCann grew up on a farm in eastern North Dakota.  He graduated from Valley City State University in 1980 with a Bachelors of Science degree, with an English major and a Coaching and Physical Education minor.  He was an English teacher and basketball coach in North Dakota from 1980 to 1987, then took a job with John Deere Insurance and moved to Denver in 1987.  He worked with John Deere Insurance from 1987 to 2000, specializing in commercial insurance with a concentration on auto and equipment dealers.  He left John Deere and joined an independent agency in 2000, then started his own agency in 2007 and has been specializing in all forms of commercial insurance including property, casualty, life and health.  McCann, LLC has been associated with Alliance Insurance Group from its inception, and their office is located on Colfax Avenue in Lakewood, Colorado.  James enjoys all forms of athletic pursuits including golf, tennis, basketball, running, and bike riding, while he also tries to do as much reading as possible.  His wife, Pamela, is also involved in the insurance field, and they have two lovely grandchildren.
