Alliance Insurance Group is proud to sponsor the local Golden High School football team for the 2014 season. Under coach Jason Neely, the Demons will kick off their season at home on August 22nd at 7:00 p.m. against Littleton, followed by an away game on September 5th against Green Mountain in Lakewood at 4:00 p.m. The Demons play in the Colorado Class 4A Division within the 4A Mountain League and will finish their regular season schedule on October 31st against George Washington in Denver. Included in their line-up are two players who were named to the all-conference first team last year.
Golden High School is located in the Front Range foothills at 701-24th Street, Golden, CO 80401. Founded way back in 1873, it is the oldest school in Colorado, although the modern new building housing the high school opened in 2008. According to Coach Neely, their football program is built on four pillars: “Believe in something bigger than yourself, have the courage to change, have a work ethic, and have respect”.
