Taking Control of Your Commercial Auto Insurance

A man in a vehicle delivering a package

It is the time of the season where package deliveries are on the rise for the holidays. With the ramp up in deliveries, many parcel and individual companies are adding more vehicles to the road. This includes trucks, vans, and now, personal vehicles.

Larger companies like Amazon and more, are hiring local delivery drivers to ensure same, to one day delivery. With this new delivery process, and the escalation of all delivery vehicles on the road,  the rise in Commercial Auto insurance coverage is at a heavy increase.

But there is good news for these businesses. There are insurance markets that are allowing companies to take control. Commercial delivery services now have the opportunity to take charge of their premium rates.

Our partnered program allows delivery services, of many industries, to be rated of their miles driven and how well the drivers perform. A free telematic application within the program is offered to the company and allows them to track how well their drivers are performing on the road.

Each month, your delivery vehicles will be tracked through an app on the driver’s phone. The app will track things like mileage, cell phone use, speed, acceleration, breaking, and others. When the monthly results are submitted directly from the app to the insurance carrier, it accumulates your monthly premium.

The better your employees drive, the better the rates will be on your delivery service’s commercial auto policy.

In an extremely tough and increasing Commercial Auto market, there is more hope for businesses with several delivery vehicles. Leaving you on the road to have the chance to lower rates and put more money back into the bottom line of your company.

If you have, or will be hiring delivery drivers this holiday season, give us a call at (303) 279-9700 or fill out the form below to speak with one of our agents today.
